New England Premiership Announce Addition of Three Clubs
New Clubs Commit to Fall 2010 Season
Waltham, 8th July 2010; The New England Premiership is pleased to announce that three additional clubs have committed to competing in the league starting in the fall of 2010.
Joining the NEP for the first time are NEFC and FC Massachusetts. FC Greater Boston Bolts previously participated in the league in the spring of 2010 on a small-scale and will now enter the entire club in league competition.
“We are excited to welcome these clubs and look forward to watching their teams play in the Fall” said NEP President James Hamblin. “The New England Premiership strives to foster technical and tactical development through competition in a challenging environment, and these clubs will further enhance the quality of play.”
The NEP is a club-based league focused on player development that was established in the fall of 2009. Participation in the league is limited to clubs with a demonstrated commitment to player development including minimum licenses for coaching staff, minimum standards for facilities and a dedicated Director of Coaching with a USSF B coaching license or higher. The NEP holds competition for male and female players from age groups U10 through U18. Member clubs include Mass Premier Soccer, Seacoast United, Bruno United, Seacoast Maine and Lightning SC.
